Product details

The Firefly is the rechargeable Baby Shusher with a night light built in. It plays the same real recorded human “shhh” as the original, but adds longer timers, continuous play and a dimmable warm light, so it can stay on the nightstand instead of being fetched only when a baby is already crying.

Baby Shusher Firefly specifications

  • Sound: Real recorded human shushing
  • Timers: 30, 60 or 90 minutes, plus continuous play
  • Night light: Warm, dimmable sunset-style glow
  • Power: USB-C rechargeable, charging cable included
  • Portability: Cordless and wireless in use

How it differs from the original Baby Shusher

Three things: continuous play (the original stops after 30 minutes at most), USB-C charging instead of AA batteries, and the night light. If your baby wakes when the sound stops, continuous mode is the single most useful upgrade here. The dimmable light is also enough to handle a night feed without switching on an overhead lamp.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Firefly has no cry detection — it will not restart itself if your baby stirs after the timer ends, though continuous mode sidesteps that. If automatic restart matters more to you than a night light, the Shusher Sloth is the model that listens.
