The Restore 3 sits a step up from a basic nursery sound machine — it is built around a sunrise wake light meant to ease a toddler or adult out of sleep gradually. Sleepopolis, a sleep-focused review outlet, tests it the way they test mattresses: over actual use rather than a single demo.
Useful once a child has outgrown a simple sound machine and a wake-time or sunrise cue becomes the more relevant feature.
